The company recently undertook an export project that adheres to the stringent EN acceptance standards. Among the components, the coated parts pose a significant manufacturing challenge due to the limited welding space—a real “hard nut to crack.”

Assigned to this project as an argon arc welder, he began welding alongside his mentor, Jing Xiaoming. This was his first time working on an EN project, and the responsibility weighed heavily on him. Nevertheless, he quickly threw himself into production with an exceptionally meticulous attitude. Initially, the weld quality rate stood at only 60%, far below the required standards. Faced with this challenge, he proactively sought guidance from his mentor with humility and then started welding with painstaking precision—like embroidery. First, he carefully and steadily completed the root-pass procedure; whenever he detected even the slightest flaw in the weld, he immediately corrected it. Then, adopting a strategy of "multiple small passes," he repeatedly fine-tuned his technique and optimized the welding parameters.

After several rounds of testing and refinement, his welding pass rate has risen to over 90%, enabling the project to accelerate its production schedule. His courage in facing challenges head-on and daring to tackle tough problems is truly admirable.
